The diet-only group lost only 4.07 kg in 12 months, the aerobic exercise group lost 6.62 kg, while the vibration training group lost 10.18 kg. In terms of visceral adipose tissue (VAT) changes:
The control group actually showed an increase in visceral fat of 26.3±30.6 cm² at 12 months.

In contrast, the vibration training group reduced visceral fat by 47.8±41.2 cm² at 6 months and 47.8±45.7 cm² at 12 months, with no rebound throughout the study. It was the only group that could significantly reduce visceral fat long-term.
